September 23, 2023: Savannah, GA 31405 The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Georgia Christian Generals (Valdosta, GA) and the host Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA), saw Georgia Christian's volleyball squad beat Memorial Day by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Georgia Christian upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Generals host Highland Christian Academy (Valdosta, GA) to play the EAGLES in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The EAGLES enter the game with a record of 2-11. Highland Christian Academy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Brooks County (Quitman, GA)
The Matadors (3-18) will now prepare for their game against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 16-8 record. In their last game, Grace Christian Academy gained a win over Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
