Iowa High School Volleyball - Lisbon tips Grinnell
September 23, 2023: Grinnell, IA 50112 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) and the host Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), saw Lisbon's volleyball squad nip Grinnell by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Lisbon upgrades its record to 19-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Perry (Perry, IA) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Perry lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA)
The Tigers now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Grinnell will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-18.
