September 23, 2023: Lake Charles, LA 70611 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) and the visiting Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA), saw Sam Houston's volleyball squad beat Haughton by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sam Houston upgrades its record to 19-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 2-18. West Monroe lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Newman (New Orleans, LA)
The Buccaneers now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. Haughton will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-4.
