September 23, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70130 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the McGehee Hawks (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA), saw McGehee's volleyball squad nip Lakeshore by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, McGehee upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Hawks host Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Calvary Baptist Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA)
The now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Academy of the Sacred Heart for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Lakeshore will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Covington (Covington, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-7.
