September 23, 2023: Van Buren, AR 72956 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Van Buren Pointers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Morrilton Devil Dogs.
The Pointers (12-17) will now prepare for their battle against Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 18-1 record. In their last battle, Brookland achieved victory over Southside (Batesville, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Devil Dogs encounter the Robinson Senators (Little Rock, AR) in a 4A Central battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Morrilton will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Senators come into the battle with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR).
