In Saturday's non-league contest, the Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Northwestern will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 5-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).

With the loss, Ridge View moves to 7-8 on the year. The Blazers travel to Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 23.
