September 23, 2024: Shelbyville, KY 40065 The Marion County Knights edged the host Shelby County Rockets soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.
Next, the Knights face the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a District 18 game, on Wednesday, September 25. Marion County will attempt to advance on its 11-5 season record.
The Rockets (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Chargers enter the non-league game with a 14-0 record. In their last game, Bullitt East held off Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY), 4-2, in a non-league game.
