West Virginia High School Football - Lewis County can't hold off Braxton County
September 23, 2024: Weston, WV 26452 Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 26-22 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Braxton County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Roane County (Spencer, WV) to play the Raiders in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Roane County won 27-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV)
The Minutemen now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7.
