September 23, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87112 The Manzano Monarchs football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Rio Grande Ravens to 6 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Monarchs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albuquerque for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Manzano will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 50-0 non-league win over Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, Rio Grande drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Ravens host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-0.
