Washington High School Football - Yelm tops Puyallup
September 23, 2024: Yelm, WA 98597 The Yelm Tornados football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Puyallup Vikings to 18 in the Tornados non-league triumph on Monday.
The Tornados now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Spanaway Lake for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Yelm will meet a Sentinels squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Federal Way (Federal Way, WA). The Sentinels record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Puyallup drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-3. Emerald Ridge lost 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA)
