Massachusetts High School Soccer - Burlington nudges Wilmington
September 23, 2024: Wilmington, MA 01887 In Monday's league outing, the visiting Burlington Red Devils soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Wilmington Wildcats.
The Red Devils (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Stoneham (Stoneham, MA). The Spartans go into the Middlesex outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Stoneham was edged by Melrose (Melrose, MA), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) in a Middlesex outing, on Wednesday, September 25. Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Watertown (Watertown, MA).
