September 23, 2024: Springfield, IL 62711 Lutheran/Calvary Crusaders (Springfield, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Pana Panthers (Pana, IL), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lutheran/Calvary moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Meridian/Sangamon Valley (Macon, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 5-7. Meridian/Sangamon Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL)
The Panthers now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton for a South Central test on Tuesday, September 24. Pana will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.
