September 23, 2024: Harrodsburg, KY 40330 Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Danville Christian Academy Warriors (Danville, KY), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mercer County improves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Titans host Sayre (Lexington, KY) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 12-3. Sayre won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Berea (Berea, KY)
The Warriors now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrard County for a District 45 test on Tuesday, September 24. Danville Christian Academy will encounter a Golden Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 5-8.
