September 23, 2024: Westhope, ND 58793 Westhope/Newburg Sioux (Westhope, ND) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dunseith Dragons (Dunseith, ND), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Westhope/Newburg improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Sioux travel to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND) to face the Braves/Stars in a B - Region 6 District 11 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Braves/Stars go into the test with a record of 3-2. Bottineau won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against St. John (St. John, ND)
The Dragons now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John for a B - Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 24. Dunseith will face a Woodchucks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND). The Woodchucks record now stands at 0-4.
