North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Wilkes advances its record to 10-5 on the season. The Vikings host Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 5-8.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkin for a Northwest 1A test on Tuesday, September 24. East Wilkes will face a Buckin' Elks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 3-12.
