Virginia High School Volleyball - Floyd County overwhelmed by Grayson County
September 23, 2024: Independence, VA 24348 The Grayson County Blue Devils topped the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Tuesday, September 24. Grayson County will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Maroons go into the game with a 5-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA).
The Buffaloes (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders go into the Three Rivers game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Glenvar was dropped by Auburn (Riner, VA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
