September 23, 2024: Alexandria, PA 16611 Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Juniata Valley improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA) to face the Rockets in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 8-4. Southern Huntingdon County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA)
The Huskies now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hershey for a Mid-Penn - Keystone test on Tuesday, September 24. Mifflin County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
