With the triumph, Center Grove moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Avon (Avon, IN) to meet the Orioles in a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. The Orioles come into the match with a record of 2-4.
The Greyhounds now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zionsville for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Carmel will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Fishers (Fishers, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
