New York High School Soccer - Herkimer West Canada Valley
September 23, 2025: Herkimer, NY 13350 West Canada Valley Nighthawks (Newport, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Herkimer Magicians (Herkimer, NY), 6-3 in a league test.
With the triumph, West Canada Valley moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Adirondack (Boonville, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-5.
The Magicians now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort-Schuyler for a CSC Division I test on Friday, September 26.
