Georgia High School Softball - Atkinson County bounces Turner County

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) and the host Turner County Titans (Ashburn, GA), observed Atkinson County's softball team notch a victory over Turner County by a final score of 12-0.

The Rebels (5-10) will now prepare for their bout against Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Panthers go into the 1A D-II Region 2 bout with a 12-6 record.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 29. Turner County will attempt to better on its 2-18 season record. The Golden Tornadoes enter the game with a 7-13 record after their 16-7 league loss to Westover (Albany, GA).
