The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA) and the visiting Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA), observed Berrien's softball team prevail over Miller County by a tally of 9-1.

The Rebels (10-13) will now prepare for their bout against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons go into the 1A D-I Region 1 contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Brantley County thwarted Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 15-1, in a league contest.
