Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Covenant Christian Academy Cougars (West Peabody, MA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Buckingham Browne & Nichols (Cambridge, MA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Buckingham Browne & Nichols beat Newton Country Day of the Sacred Heart (Newton, MA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Landmark Vikings (Prides Crossing, MA) in a NEPSAC test, on Thursday, September 25. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cambridge (Weston, MA).
