Utah High School Volleyball - Pinon tips Monument Valley

September 23, 2025: Monument Valley, UT 84536

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) and the host Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT), observed Pinon's volleyball team hold off Monument Valley by a count of 3-2.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Round Valley (Eagar, AZ). The Elks go into the 2A - North battle with a 16-7 record. In their last battle, Round Valley tipped Madison Highland Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Point for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 25. Monument Valley will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 10-5.
