Minnesota High School Volleyball - Mountain Lake/Comfrey overwhelmed by Southwest Minnesota Christian
September 23, 2025: Edgerton, MN 56128 Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton for a Red Rock outing on Thursday, September 25. Southwest Minnesota Christian will play a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Knights record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Mountain Lake/Comfrey drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The host Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Thursday, September 25. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 11-5. Westbrook-Walnut Grove won 3-0 in their recent league game against Murray County Central (Slayton, MN)
