The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) and the visiting Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), observed Anclote's football squad defeat Central by a count of 30-8.

The Sharks now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gulf for a 5A District 10 contest on Friday, October 1. Anclote will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 42-13 non-league loss to Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-3.
