September 24, 2021: Lake Park, IA 51347 The Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears football team (Algona, IA), was knocked off 19-2 in Friday's league challenge with the host Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA)
The Wolves (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Titans come into the 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire knocked off West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA), 26-12, in a league challenge.
The Golden Bears now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Edmond for a 8-Man District 2 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 1. Bishop Garrigan will meet a Gaels team coming off a 58-6 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Remsen, IA). The Gaels record now stands at 1-4.
