The Buchanan Bears football squad scored 45 points and restricted the host Edison Tigers to 14 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clovis West for a Tri-River battle on Friday, October 1. Buchanan will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 23-10 non-league loss to Turlock (Turlock, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers face the Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) in a County/Metro battle, on Friday, October 1. Edison will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Apaches enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 14-10 non-league win over Clovis East (Clovis, CA).
