The Northwest Area Rangers football team (Shickshinny, PA), was ripped 42-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Canton Warriors (Canton, PA)

The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA). The Hornets come into the PIAA District IV challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Wellsboro was ripped by Troy (Troy, PA), 21-0, in a league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Muncy for a PIAA District IV challenge on Friday, October 1. Northwest Area will meet a Indians team coming off a 42-8 league win over Sayre (Sayre, PA). The Indians record now stands at 4-1.
