Chickasaw Chieftains (Chickasaw, AL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL), 56-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Chickasaw improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Chieftains host Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Mobile, AL) to confront the Warriors in a 3A Region 1 test on Friday, October 1. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-2. Cottage Hill Christian Academy won 28-21 in their recent non-league test against LeFlore (Mobile, AL)

With the loss, Southern Choctaw moves to 0-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 2 test on Friday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 6-0. Sweet Water won 41-26 in their recent non-league test against Leroy (Leroy, AL)
