The Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) football nudged the visiting Colton Vikings (Colton, OR), 14-8 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Culver Bulldogs (Culver, OR) in a 2A Special District 2 bout, on Friday, October 1. Salem Academy will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 48-16 league loss to Santiam (Mill City, OR).
