In Friday's league match, the host Marion Swamp Foxes football squad scored a close 18-12 victory over the Lee Central Stallions.

In their next game, the Swamp Foxes clash with the Latta Vikings (Latta, SC) in a AA Region 7 match, on Friday, October 1. Marion will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record.

The Stallions (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Mullins (Mullins, SC). The Auctioneers enter the AA Region 7 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Mullins was nudged by Andrews (Andrews, SC), 26-20, in a league match.
