Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host South Central Trojans (Greenwich, OH), 47-46 in a league test.

With the triumph, Monroeville improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to battle the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Friday, October 1. The Golden Bears come into the test with a record of 5-1. Gibsonburg lost 35-34 in their recent league test against Lakota (Kansas, OH)

With the loss, South Central drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Crestview (Ashland, OH) to battle the Cougars in a Firelands test on Friday, October 1. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 6-0. Crestview won 35-10 in their recent non-league test against Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH)
