The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) and the host Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN), observed Princeton's football squad defeat Washington by a count of 40-24.

The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Boonville for a Pocket - Big School contest on Friday, October 1. Princeton will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 13-12 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-5.

Coming up next, the Hatchets encounter the Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN) in a Pocket - Big School contest, on Friday, October 1.
