The Wellsville Tigers football team (Wellsville, OH), was beaten 32-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Southern Indians (Salineville, OH)

The Indians (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leetonia (Leetonia, OH). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Leetonia was beaten by Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH), 34-14, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to David Anderson for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 1. Wellsville will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 28-6 league win over East Palestine (East Palestine, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-4.
