Connecticut High School Football - Harvey sneaks past Pomfret School
September 24, 2022: Pomfret, CT 06258 The Harvey Cavaliers football squad scored 30 points and restricted the host Pomfret School Griffins to 24 in the Cavaliers league victory on Saturday.
The Cavaliers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millbrook School for a NEPSAC 8-Man (8 Man) battle on Saturday, October 8. Harvey will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 44-30 league loss to Forman (Litchfield, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
Coming up next, the Griffins face the Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) in a NEPSAC 8-Man (8 Man) battle, on Saturday, October 1. Pomfret School will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Highlanders enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 26-14 league loss to Hebron Academy (Hebron, ME).
