West Virginia High School Soccer - South Charleston knocks off Spring Valley
September 24, 2022: South Charleston, WV 25309 South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Black Eagles confront the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. South Charleston will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Red Dragons enter the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV).
The Timberwolves now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cross Lanes Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 26. Spring Valley will confront a Warriors team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 0-14.
