September 24, 2022: Joliet, IL 60432 Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Riverside-Brookfield will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
The Steelmen now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Chicago for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 24. Joliet Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
