California High School Volleyball - Van Nuys edged by Mendez
September 24, 2022: Van Nuys, CA 91477 The Mendez Jaguars held off the host Van Nuys Wolves volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Jaguars now have a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherman Oaks CES for a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. Mendez will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
The Wolves (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Regents enter the test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Reseda was nudged by Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
