New York High School Soccer - Jamestown overwhelmed by Erie
September 24, 2022: Jamestown, NY 14701 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Erie Royals (Erie, PA) and the host Jamestown Red Raiders (Jamestown, NY), saw Erie's soccer squad triumph over Jamestown by a count of 7-0.
The Royals now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Corry for a District 10 Region 6 test on Monday, September 26. Erie will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Beavers record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Jamestown drops to 2-7 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY) to meet the Gators in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 28. The Gators come into the test with a record of 7-3. Allegany-Limestone won 3-0 in their recent league test against Olean (Olean, NY)
