The Anselmo-Merna Coyotes held off the host Sandhills/Thedford Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Coyotes now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia/Loup City for a non-league test on Thursday, September 29.

The Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Arthur County (Arthur, NE). The Wolves enter the D2 District 10 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Arthur County held off Paxton (Paxton, NE), 3-2, in a non-league test.
