In Saturday's non-league contest, the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the host Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Flyers face the Deubrook Dolphins (White, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 27. Chester will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Dolphins go into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD).
