Kansas High School Volleyball - Ellis can't hold off Skyline

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Skyline Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Ellis Railroaders.

The Thunderbirds (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Macksville was edged by St. John (St. John, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Railroaders clash with the South Gray Rebels (Montezuma, KS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 24. Ellis will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 12-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bucklin (Bucklin, KS).
