September 24, 2022: Huntington Park, CA 90255 The Marquez Gladiators volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks to 0 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gladiators now possess a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triumph Charter for a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. Marquez will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-5.
The Sharks (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Santee (Los Angeles, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Santee was dropped by Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
