California High School Volleyball - Triumph Charter edged by Marquez
September 24, 2022: Sylmar, CA 91342 The Marquez Gladiators held off the host Triumph Charter Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gladiators now have a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bravo for a Southern test on Tuesday, September 27. Marquez will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-4.
The Jaguars (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Lakeview Charter (Sylmar, CA). The Lions enter the North Valley test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Lakeview Charter held off North Valley Military Institute (Sun Valley, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
