September 24, 2024: Columbia, MD 21046 Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Long Reach moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to clash with the Vikings in a test on Thursday, September 26. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-1. Mt. Hebron lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD)
The Golden Bears now sport a 0-1 record.
