September 24, 2024: Kankakee, IL 60901 Timothy Christian Trojans (Elmhurst, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL), 10-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Timothy Christian moves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 10-3. Althoff Catholic won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Mater Dei (Breese, IL)
The Fightin' Irish now sport a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marian Central Catholic for a Chicagoland Christian test on Tuesday, October 1. Bishop McNamara will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 1-0 league win over Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-4.
