September 24, 2024: Ore City, TX 75683 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) and the visiting Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX), observed Ore City's volleyball team top Cushing by a count of 3-0.
The Rebels (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Brahmas enter the non-league contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Pewitt was knocked off by Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bearkats battle the Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Cushing will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Sandies enter the contest with a 0-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX).
