September 24, 2024: Laveen, AZ 85339 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ), observed Metro Tech's volleyball team top Fairfax by a count of 3-0.
The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions enter the 5A - Metro contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Alhambra was knocked off by Central (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Stampede meet the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a 5A - Metro contest, on Thursday, September 26. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 9-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to North (Phoenix, AZ).
