September 24, 2024: Moody, TX 76557 Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Moody improves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Meyer (Waco, TX) to encounter the Ravens in a 2A Region II District 15 test on Friday, September 27. The Ravens go into the test with a record of 3-18. Meyer won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against University (Waco, TX)
The Bulldogs now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granger for a 2A Region IV District 26 test on Saturday, October 5. Thorndale will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Florence (Florence, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-14.
