September 24, 2024: Washington, IA 52353 Washington Demons (Washington, IA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Washington advances its record to 10-8 on the season. The Demons host Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to face the Chiefs in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 3-11. Keokuk lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA)
The Panthers now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alma for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Mt. Pleasant will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 9-9.
